About me

Career Background

Experienced Graphic Designer that's proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Aspiring UX/UI Designer currently enrolled in Career Track at Springboard. Proud Rutgers University alum with a B.A. in Computer Science.

At my current job at Aduro Products, I have a very niche role in preparing graphics for e-commerce sales on Amazon. I optimize all images and graphics for the products that my employers are selling on Amazon. The goal is to communicate to customers clearly what the features of each product are in an aesthetic way, not only to sell the product but to provide clear visual expectations for the customer.

With 4 years studying computer science during college undergrad and now 4 years working as a graphic designer, I’ve learned that UX/UI Design is my dream job, where I can utilize my visual design skills while communicating with front-end developers in a way that they can understand since I’ve coded before. This is why I decided to enroll in a UX/UI Career Track workshop provided by Springboard to pursue a career in this field. I have enjoyed using my Photoshop skills for e-commerce and social media graphics, but I am very interested in transitioning to a UX/UI role, where I can be much more involved in the larger picture research and designing process, not just the technical work I do now.

A little bit about me

In addition to my endeavors in the design field, I have a very wide range of interests. I love sports, such as playing basketball and tennis, in addition to watching my Dolphins in the NFL. Recently I've become a pretty avid Kpop & Kdrama fan—so much to the extent that I've been learning the Korean language since the end of 2020. I play some video games, such as Valorant (I'm terrible but it's fun) on PC, and Fire Emblem. Love Marvel & Star Wars. Oh—and I love photography! I am an INFP and I have many interests, so before I go on a rant I'll end it here. I'm sure this paragraph alone has something that can help break the ice in a conversation with anyone!
